The Dinah Reigns Again in Palm Springs

2-6 April 2014

Do you remember Dinah Shore, American crooner and amateur golfer for whom the Dinah Shore Golf Championship was named?

If yes, you’re an older, wiser woman who may have attended the Original Dinah Shore Weekend that has been running for 22 years. (The Rainbow Rambler was at numero uno as part of an IGLTA visit). If not, you’re young enough to enjoy the current Club Skirts event called simply “The Dinah”.

More than 15,000 women from all over the world will gather in Palm Springs for The Dinah, which coincides with the Ladies Professional Gold Association’s Kraft Nabisco Championship Golf Tournament.

Club Skirts’ Dinah is the largest girl party music festival in the world, and it will be a battle of the DJs and major headliners performing 2-6 April at various venues around Palm Springs, California.

If the official hotels are sold out, there is alternate gay-owned accommodation in Palm Springs: Random Haus is lesbian and gay family friendly, and pets, too.
