3rd March 2014, Sydney, Australia
This could be the perfect ending to the 2014 Mardi Gras Season and won’t break the budget for rafting, gourmet lunch and unwinding at a resort spa afterwards.
As the official tour operator for Mardi Gras, the locals at Planetdwellers have designed a ladies-only, adrenaline-filled, controlled whitewater experience for 3 March at the end of the festival.
The adventure starts with an escorted coach trip to the outer Western Suburbs of Sydney, to visit the Penrith White Water Stadium (the world-class 2002 Sydney Olympics venue).
The excursion will be followed by a sumptuous buffet style lunch and afternoon of relaxation, detox and unwinding at the world-class Villa Thalgo Spa located in the stunning Sebel Hawkesbury Resort.
After a short safety briefing your fully qualified guide will take you through this exciting, certified, controlled course, as your adrenaline pumps and your screams abound through the Nepean Valley! Afterwards, a quick shower and change and we are off to devour a sumptuous buffet style lunch at Australia’s only Villa Thalgo – the Parisian spa to the stars!
Here, you can relax and indulge in the therapy pools and steam rooms, wander the exquisite gardens, or why not pay a little extra and truly indulge yourself with a spa treatment.
After your hours of detox, cleansing, revitalisation and relaxation, you will be taken back to the city early in the evening.
The cost is $280 and includes a fully commentated tour, all transfers, gourmet buffet lunch, bottled water and morning tea snacks. Why not indeed!
